Login is split into two separate full page loads: a username only page that redirects to a password only page. Tests whether basic capture can tie two distinct page navigations together into one saved credential.
Check it in DevTools: Network panel: submitting fires a full navigation, a POST to /login followed by a fresh GET of /login-step2. That’s two separate documents rather than one page holding both fields.
